A spicy Last Word riff

As a follow up to last week's Last Word recipe, I offer up a Drinking and Thinking original. Using the basic 4 equal part formula of primary spirit : herbal : sweet : citrus from the Last Word, I have created a spicy but deep and floral cocktail to rival the original if I do say so myself. But don't take my "word" for it, check out the ratings on Kindred Cocktails. Say what? Who cares? I do. It's the premier cocktail site for true cocktail experts and nerds. Everyone can look up recipes by ingredient, and there are thousands, but you have to become a member and then you can rate, comment and save recipes in your "book". I have personally tasted and rated over 800 cocktails on there. You could say I'm a bit obsessed with cocktails and this site. It's the first place I look. There are thousands of recipes and I believe thousands of members. It's an old school type site, database driven, nothing fancy to look at, but there is no evil social engineering and data theft. This is a labor of love by fanatics and professionals alike. So when I have 11 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars I feel pretty good. There are classics that garner lower ratings. Even the Negroni only has a 4.5 rating, although it obviously has 10x more ratings at 121. So anyway, this is an objective critique of my creation and it feels good to know that I've brought some pleasure into the lives of strangers who appreciate a good cocktail. Check it out and join! Or make this cocktail first.
